Practice Management

Alison Butterill
The practice manager's aim is to ensure the smooth running of the practice covering all aspects of administration. She does not have medical knowledge and cannot give medical advice but will maintain complete confidentiality.

Reception

There are six part-time receptionists and a practice secretary whose job is to co-ordinate the flow of patients to the doctors/nurse and to deal with enquiries. They do not have medical knowledge and cannot give medical advice but will maintain complete confidentiality.

Community Midwives

We have a midwife attached to the practice who holds a clinic on Tuesday afternoons. The midwife can be contacted via Camborne Health Office 01209 886580.

Community Nurses

The Community Nurses care for housebound patients such as the elderly, chronically ill or patients recovering from recent operations. The service is arranged by the patient's doctor.

Health Visitors

The Health Visitors can give advice on health care to all age groups, in particular mother and children, the elderly and the handicapped. The Health Visitor can be contacted by telephoning Camborne 01209 886500.

Counsellors

There are three counsellors attached to the practice, one who deals specifically with drugs and alcohol problems and the others deal with general issues. Referral is made to the counsellors by a doctor.
